My son has been enrolled in the pre-k program for 7 months. What he enjoys most is the personal attention and diversity of activities. What I love is the chance to go over his day with the teachers each time I pick him up.
As a 20 year veteran educator, I feel uniquely qualified to write about the wonderful school, my daughter has attended for the past four years--Your Kids Our Kids. I admit that the fact that the school close by my apartment was one of my main reasons for choosing YKOK. I would see the kids outside everyday walking to union Square park and they looked happy and engaged. That was perfect for my then 18-month-old daughter and me... My daughter has learned so much on "your watch." She has learned to be social, polite, and kind from her interactions with her teachers and peers. The diversity of the school has given my daughter a wonderful view of the world. She is curious, happy and just about READING!!! She and I have both made wonderful friends, with whom we plan to stay in touch for many years to come. All of the staff has taught my daughter to love school. She is so happy when she arrives there everyday. And there have actually been many time when I came to pick her up and she didn't want to leave. So as we get ready to say so long, I wanted to say thank you. My daughters first words, first steps and even her first solo trip to the potty happened at YKOK. It is a very special place that like our children has grown over the years. We will both miss all of the wonderful people who have become a big part of our life. You have done a magnificent job. Proverbs Chapter 22 says, "We are to train our children in the way they should go and they will never depart from it." You have started all of your charges "in the way they should go." I will always be grateful for all you have done.
I'm incredibly confident that my son is learning, playing and being loved here. The staff has always informed me of how my son's day went, good and bad, and what his class is up to and projects they are doing. It isn't only the teachers that know my son. The whole staff knows him and he knows them. When he walks in the door he is happy to be there and I can't tell you how happy that makes me.
My daughter has been enrolled since she was 4 1/2 months old. She is now 4 1/2 years old and we will both feel sad when she leaves in to go to public school in September. I would recommend this program to parents with confidence.

Great Place for Babies
My baby goes here and I have always felt included and informed. They offer lots of classes French, art, music and yoga. The school is well run and they offer lots of particulars like organic milk and extended days. I couldnt hope for a better program for my 5 month old.

Great School
My child has been going to Your Kids since she was very little. I've always been impressed by the teachers there. They seem to really care for the children they look after. Sending your child to school can be a bit nerve racking. But everyone went out of there way to make me feel comfortable about the experience. My little girl is very happy there. And if she's happy, so are we! The teachers also have great, fun, interesting ways of teaching the children.
Warm and loving school
I love the school my child has been going there since he was three months old. The teachers are warm and caring. And the children thrive under their care. I highly recommend this school.
